American companies have filed a Section 337 investigation request against DJI drones and their components.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, on August 30, Autel Robotics, a U.S. company, filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, accusing Shenzhen DJI Innovations Co., Ltd. and its affiliates of infringing its patent rights regarding drones and their components (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Components Thereof) exported to the U.S., imported into the U.S., or sold in the U.S. The company requested the ITC to initiate a Section 337 investigation and issue a limited exclusion order and a cease-and-desist order.
